2017 Jim Barry The Barry Bros Clare Valley Shiraz (Shiraz)

- Nose: The nose is juicy, vibrant, fruity aromas, raspberry, blackberry, cherry, violets and sweet spices.
- Mouth: The palate is vivid, bright, red fruits, medium bodied, smooth and fine-grained tannins, long and deep, savory spices and oak.

GRAPES: Shiraz (100%).
AGEING: Aging takes place in French oak for 12 months.
PREPARATION: The grapes were sorted, de-stemmed and crushed. Fermentation was carried out in stainless steel fermenters with boards down, which hides dipped in the fermentation broth and the temperature moderated 'lid' while gently extracted color, flavor and tannins. The overpumping were performed twice a day with a grid and returned once a day. Fermentation lasted 7 to 10 days before being pressed. Malolactic fermentation occurred in the tank.
